Flash Flooding Hit Our Town

Yesterday the heavens opened up and it rained unbelievably! The whole main street was under water and people from local businesses were busy trying to sandbag outside their stores to stop the flooding, it's the third time this summer this has happened. The weather patterns every where are strange this year with so much damage, loss of life and devastation. You wonder when it will all end.

I've not been offering a lot of freebies lately, as I have been so disappointed by the lack of courtesy from people downloading. I know everyone says don't worry, at least people like your work enough to download, but in truth I do often feel disappointed and hurt that so many download and so few can even spare the time to say a quick thank you or to leave a comment. On this blog I share not only my work, but also a part of my life with you all. I post about things that are special and important to me and rarely can anyone take the time to post an answer or share back with me. So many designers feel this way and I think it is so very sad that we are becoming such a selfish society. To those who do leave a comment, I really appreciate it more than you know.

Willow is doing really well now and putting on weight. She is settling into a good routine although has chosen to have her naughty time at night, as do most babies. We love her dearly and cant wait until our next visit up to see her

Pic of my little grand daughter Willow

Well here she is, my darling little granddaughter ~Willow Summer~ She is such a little angel and we all are so blessed to have her join our family. Willow is home at last and both she and mum are doing well. It was sad saying goodbye to them all yesterday at the airport, but I do plan to visit again soon. Isn't she just adorable :)
