It never ceases to amaze me how retailers make the most of any traditional holiday or celebration. I went shopping to try and get something special for two of my little grandchildren and the prices were phenomenal. I could have bought the usual egg full off smarties but I wanted something different and a little bit special. So I thought I would shop around a bit more. Anyway I was in the $2 shop locally looking for gift wrapping paper and I found these fantastic little Easter Princess felt baskets, complete with diamontes lol. So I bought them along with a $10 pack of 20 small chocolate eggs, a pack of chicks for $1.00 and voila! I have two very unique easter baskets which no one else will have and which I am sure will delight my two little girls.
What do you think? It's worthwhile doing your own Easter hampers isnt it lol
