~ Wishful thinking ~

I really would like to get back to my sketching. I miss it and wish I had more time to devote to it. It's funny how online time takes over from some of the Real Life enjoyments. This is a sketch I did a couple of years ago. He was a small foal not long born, who I could not resist. From his look I think he liked me too. If you find the time to try, take a crayon or two and just go visit nature. You will be amazed at what you can find.

Some of my mad love of the Fae and Faeries has rubbed off on Lily. She just loves faeries, sparkles, rainbows and butterflies. This is how she returned home from a birthday party recently, her entire face covered in gold and the most beautiful butterfly painted across her pretty features. I wish I'd been there to dress her as a fairy for the photo, as I'm sure it would have looked just magical!

My little grand daughter Lily had Halloween Dress Up Day At Kinder this week. I don't think she is the scareiest witch I've ever seen, but you do have to love the pink hair lol

~ We're celebrating!! ~

My darling husband and I are celebrating our 39th Wedding Anniversary today. I can't believe how the years have flown by. Our 3 beautiful daughters have all left home to start families of their own and we are blessed with 4 beautiful grandchildren with a 5th due in February of next year. I thank my wonderful husband Ron for choosing me to spend his life with. He is my soul mate and the other half of me. I've been blessed with a man who adores me and who loves and cares for me every day of his life. Thank you my darling for being the most wonderful husband I could ever have wished for. May we both enjoy many, many more years together

Well today is a wonderful day, my beloved football team Collingwood won the 2010 AFL Grand Final in a replay after playing a draw with the Saints last weekend. Collingwood have not been premiers for 20 years and so this victory is a sweet one for both the club and their supporters.

Well done Collingwood "Magpies" You earned it boys!!
