Thank you to everyone who emailed, left messages or comments wishing my husband a speedy recovery and well wishes for his surgery. He is home now and just needs to re-couperate. His knee transplant was successful and he just needs to learn to walk again. It was a hectic time and I spent most of my days at the hospital with him as we were so far from home and he had no other visitors. My daughter looked after me well and went with me sometimes to keep me company. I managed to spend some time with my two gorgeous little grand daughters which was fabulous. I am giving hubby daily injections to thin his blood to stop the risk of blood clotting and that freaked me out at first, but now I have mastered it and am managing fine lol. I was not born to be a nurse I dont think hehehe. Thanks again everyone, your thoughts were appreciated by both hubby and I

Introducing our newest family member

Meet our newest family member lol "BAXTER" He arrived last night and is a bundle of mischief. My daughter bought Baxter's little brother "BOSTON" and his owner still had two pups left. Hubby finally relented and said I could get one of them. Baxter was the first puppy handed to me, so I said he was the one. He cried all night last night and kept falling down the back step, so I am a little tired today :( I kept getting up to check that he was alright and popping him back in his bed. My daughter is mailing me a heat pad to put in his basket to help settle him. Isn't he just the cutest thing you've ever seen?

~ Update ~

Hi Everyone
Just letting you know there will be no freebies this week. My husband has had surgery and I am staying in Melbourne with my daughter so I can visit him whilst he is in the hospital. He is expected to be in for 5 - 7 days and then there will be lots of recouperation when he gets home. I will have some freebies next week for you I promise as I will be housebound looking after my patient lol. and will have lots of time to play.

~ Happy and Safe Easter ~

Just a quick hello and to wish you all a Safe and Happy Easter Celebrations. We visited with our grandchildren on Friday to give them their chocolate eggs and as tradition has it, I always arrange a fun Easter Egg Scramble for adults and children alike. It is so funny watching them jostling and pushing to grab these tiny eggs (And that's the adults lol) The kids smiles are so wide. Today is Easter Sunday here in Aussie land, and time to reflect on the true tradition of our Easter Holiday. I hope you all have a wonderful day with loved ones, family and friends.
