Meet our newest family member lol "BAXTER" He arrived last night and is a bundle of mischief. My daughter bought Baxter's little brother "BOSTON" and his owner still had two pups left. Hubby finally relented and said I could get one of them. Baxter was the first puppy handed to me, so I said he was the one. He cried all night last night and kept falling down the back step, so I am a little tired today :( I kept getting up to check that he was alright and popping him back in his bed. My daughter is mailing me a heat pad to put in his basket to help settle him. Isn't he just the cutest thing you've ever seen?

Awwww - how cute - I just LOVE puppies. Have you tried putting an older style wind up clock wrapped up in a towel next to him at night as the ticking will often settle a pup.

Yep did that, he just seems unsettled which is normal I guess. My daughter sent me a pamper puppy. It's a fabric puppy with the wheat beads inside that you warm. So maybe that and the clock will settle him. He didnt wimper last night, but would settle in his bed. Slept on the tiles instead :(
I imagine he is missing the other puppies and mom. It will take time to adjust. So cute. Mine always sleep with me.
